Donald Trump should buy this one and put it in the lobby of the Trump Plaza. Previously owned by the late great TV pioneer, comedic genius and musician Sid Caesar. It's very interesting that Sid was known as the "King" of Comedy and it appears he had these "King" Louis XV gorgeous, hand carved legs made special for this piano and so from the best we can determine they are one-of-a-kind. We refinished the case, put on newer Steinway hammers and shanks, put on a Victorian Style Authentic Steinway Music Desk, and had the legs hand painted gold by an artist. This is a "work of art". And it plays incredibly, made during the latter part of the Steinway "Golden Age", 1936, it has that special, sublime Steinway M rich tone. We just replaced the original Steinway hammers and shanks with newer modern Steinway hammers and shanks. Regulated the action to concert stage performance level. It has original excellent condition keys, excellent original Steinway soundboard, pinblock, strings, dampers. This is a perfect candidate for a PianoDisc IQ Player System Installation which we can do for you. We also have been considering putting natural rubies into the center hole of each leg. If you would like to discuss customizing the legs with your gems or we can get you gems, we can discuss over the phone. Questions? Call Sonny at 631475-8046.
